Penny Jones Animal Hospice

As a small UK registered charity, the Hospice relies on donations to pay for all the ongoing costs for the animals.  We have no corporate sponsors or large scale external funding, so every penny donated really does make a difference to our animals.

We are constantly trying to find new ways to raise money to help our animals, to keep the sanctuary running and the bills paid.  Please consider supporting us in any way that you can: food donations; animal sponsorship; maybe your own personal fundraiser for the animals.

If you can help us by setting up a small regular donation, such as £5 a month, it would be massively appreciated.  Regular donations are incredibly important so that we know what’s definitely coming in each month, and that helps us with planning our expenditure.

We are a registered charity (no. 1172147) which is recognised by HMRC for Gift Aid.

Please remember that your donation can be increased at no cost to yourselves if you are a UK tax payer and sign a Gift Aid form - it just means that we can claim back a little bit of tax on your donation.

Leaving a gift to Penny Jones Animal Hospice in your will can be an easy and cost effective way of supporting all the animals that we help each year.  Your legacy will help support the work carried out by the dedicated team.

The safest way to ensure that your estate goes exactly where you want it to go when you are no longer here is to make certain that you have a well written and clearly worded will, and that somebody you trust can help make sure your wishes are carried out.  There are a great many solicitors who would be able to help with this.

Too often the small charities are overlooked and yet these are the very organisations that do the most, working tirelessly and quietly at the heart of their local community with a team of willing volunteers.

We rely on the generosity of donors to fund our work.  Gifts in wills help us to finance the high running costs of the sanctuary, or purchase something specifically for the animals that we might be struggling to afford.

Leaving a gift in your will to Penny Jones Animal Hospice, however large or small, will help us to continue helping the needy animals in our care.

If you have already made a will but would like to include us, your solicitor will easily be able to make a written attachment (called a "codicil") to the instructions you have already given.
